The National Propane Gas
Association (NPGA) is the national trade association representing the propane
industry. Its membership includes small businesses and large corporations
engaged in the retail marketing of propane gas and appliances; producers and
wholesalers of propane equipment; manufacturers and distributors of propane gas
appliances and equipment; fabricators of propane gas cylinders and tanks; and
propane transporters.
Pennsylvania
One Call System is a non-profit Pennsylvania corporation created to protect the
underground facilities of members through communication with any person(s)
planning to disturb the earth. This communication network receives and processes
line location requests from Excavators, Contractors, Plumbers, Builders,
Designers, and the general public; and disseminates this work location
information to all members based on their service agreements.
Dedicated to minimizing
utility service interruptions,
reducing on the job injuries and deaths, promoting a higher level
of public safety and
protecting the environment. The company provides a toll free telephone number
for anyone to call when digging and requesting location of underground lines.
The service is available 24 hours per day, every day of the year. Information is
obtained from the caller and disseminated to underground facility operators via
data transmission to their computers or fax machines and voice relayed to their
personnel when necessary. The system accepts automated responses from facility
operators and relays them to the excavators.

Propane Gas Association - Service, Integrity and Reliability
The
Gas Equipment Guild of Delaware Valley was formed in 1959. Since then, it
has evolved to be the only association in the Northeastern region to cater
directly for the needs of the gas equipment, regardless of application or
qualification. The Guild’s membership comprises those with interests in gas
equipment. Governed by the industry’s twin need to combine quality with
safety, while at the same time meeting all the latest environment and
legislative requirements.

protecting the environment. Congress passes laws that govern the United
States. To put those laws into effect, Congress authorizes certain government
agencies, including EPA, to create and enforce regulations.
